Back to my favorite subject, which right now is "The Big Idea" with Donny Deutsch. I love this show!!! The other day they were talking about success and failure. And there was a panel of experts advising people about success and failure. One of the things that I noticed was that the people that were calling in asking about these, were saying that they are doing their passion and they are not having success. There were people who were saying they were applying the laws of attraction, positive thinking, visualization, etc., and nothing was happening in terms of "success."

How I wish I had been on the panel, because I would so like to add another layer to all of this. This is what I've written about in Money and Manifesting. But, since I'm not on the panel, and won't likely be on the panel anytime soon, I will discuss it here.

First of all, everyone needs to reclassify their idea of "success." Right now we are measuring "success" in terms of dollars, or millions of dollars. As strange as it may seem, this is how we create limitation. This is how we stay entrenched in belief systems that well, keep us stuck in belief systems that money is power or money is success.

If we're stuck there, then we are blocking our own flow of the energy of money. And we have those people whose self-worth is tied up with money as it equates to self-value. So it is is easy to see how one might be blocking oneself unless and until you really understand that money is not power, self-worth, or success. Money is just a fair exchange of energy. And if you have some self-worth issues that tell you perhaps you are undeserving of or overwhelmed by the big idea of millions of dollars, you may begin to see what the problem is.
 
Yes, we all want money, however, as I said, money is energy. Money isn't power or success. Money is simply an exchange.  If we get an understanding of how the energy of money works, then it becomes very easy to open a flow to this energy and therefore, achieve "success."

For those that are out there doing their passion and the money isn't flowing, try to think of it like this: Passion comes from the heart. The energy of money resides in the root chakra. You have to connect the dots. You cannot connect the energy of passion in the heart with the visualizations of the mind and expect to have money flowing. It isn't enough. Because, the energy of money resides in the root and if the root is blocked, the energy of money cannot flow up from the heart and into the mind and circulate back down and around to you. It would more likely just go up and out, never to be seen again...It's like you're missing a whole big important step here...more than one step, actually. And what you're doing is energetically backward.

For example, if we understand as a basis that the energy of creating anything is in the root, in the base, as in the creation of a child, then understand that you can have all kinds of passion for creating that child and your mind can even visualize the child. But now, ask yourself what do you have to do to now create that child?? The answer is that you must engage the power of the root. You must connect everything you've got to everything else. In order to establish the flow of the energy of money you must use the power contained in all of your chakras.

For those that think this is a lot of New Age mumbo-jumbo, it isn't. It's the way things are designed to flow. You can have all the passion you could ever hope to have about something and you can visualize and think positively about it as well, and you could have nothing happen at all. Or have things happen in a limited manner. And the very simple explanation to it all is that you are simply blocked at the root.

I've written about how to unblock yourself in Money and Manifesting. But for manifesting anything you need to know there is more to the story. One must be willing to live in total alignment with their life's purpose as well. One must figure out how to live mulit-dimensionally, not just in the linear fashion and mindset that tells you that money is "success." One must learn how to take everything in their cupboard or refrigerator and create something from it all. That is when you find that you have an open pathway to the energy of money.

In order for shift to happen, in order that we might move forward as a society, and as a civilization, we need to first get the concepts of "success" and "failure" into perspective. We won't be able to have any quantum shift in mass consciousness until we fully get a grip on these things.

Here is something to think about: If we had no "money" how would we then define "success?" How would we define "failure?" How would we define ourselves?

And most importantly then, (to me!) would there still be "The Big Idea?"
