As we come down to the political wire the character attacks between the candidates become more and more agressive. But this is the way it's always been and then after the elections we all rally behind whomever, conveniently forgetting the abuses.

In the meantime, the banks fail, the stock market crashes, the country suffers, people are at a loss. And the fear escalates into unfathomable proportions. Fear attracts more fear. If you have studied the LOA, you certainly know this. Truly we need a different pattern.

That pattern cannot come, however if (1) we are afraid of change, even while saying we want, want, want it. (2) if we are willing to show up in our own individual lives engaging in the same old pattern. How many of you just "show up" and do whatever you do because that's what you were taught? You do what you do because that's what you firmly believe. Someone taught you a pattern and that's your comfort zone, so you just continue to do whatever it is because that's what you've always done. These do not give you a platform for change of any sort.

Do we find comfort in discomfort?

The popularity and world-ization of the Law of Attraction has resulted in contributing to the distortions of the root chakra, and not just on an individual level. All of a sudden sprung up life coaches, and supposedly empowered people charging crazy amounts of money based on their individual perceptions of money as it has to do with self-worth, people teaching about the power of the mind and the power of positive thinking, (which certainly is not new!) people teaching that visualization is the answer to getting what you want, want, want, and on and on.

Truly, our perception of the LOA is that now we have a tool to get what we want even in the face of whatever seems to be going on on a global level. That's what's being taught. And it sounds good in theory. The Law of Attraction has filtered into mass consciousness and has become a comfort zone. Use this to get what you want because you aren't getting what you want anywhere else. Use this to get what you want and come into the realization of your personal mind power.

Here's the truth. What we have here is a root chakra distortion, which contributes to the global distortion we now have: The Law of Attraction is a universal law that is for attracting, not manifesting. The Law of Attraction is ONE step in the process of manifesting and co-creating. It's not a panacea to get what you want.
