I saw a handsome man full of life and Spirit in his gentle eyes.  I saw an evolving life full of happy moments. I watched a couple go through an entire lifetime together with love, laughter and smiles in their eyes. That life was full of weddings, children, birthday celebrations, grandchildren, building a home...so much more. And I was very taken by the happiness throughout. It was a life full of joy.

And maybe not quite unlike your own life. Oh, if only we could watch a video of our lifetimes while we were still here!

Now, as I watched I wondered about the other moments too. Where was the sadness? The pain? The moments of lost faith and doubt? Where was the other side of this life?

As humans, we hope for happiness and long for joy even through any pain.  And what's so interesting about us is that we are willing to forget the pain in the name of Love.

I wondered too, if this man could view this video tribute to him would he embrace his life as it was - so full of joy? Did he live and feel that joy in every single moment when he walked this earth? Did he appreciate the bountiful gifts that this lifetime brought him, even if they were not gifts of money, fancy cars, huge houses, fame, personal accolades, and recognition?

That's what this video reminds me that we need to do. Live the joy and love in every single moment, and let go of the pain. I believe this man has taken with him to the other side, every single moment of Love in his lifetime. We should do the same. 

Love is what we come in with when we enter here as little "bundles of joy." Love is what we spend a lifetime seeking and making our way back to. And Love is what we go out of here remembering. The last words we utter are all about Love, aren't they?  Yes, we definitely take it with us.

Let go of your pain and live now.

When we're talking about inegrating we're really talking about connecting mind, body, and spirit. We can hear those words hundreds of times and not really understand what they mean. We can hear them and read them and still not integrate them.

Integrating starts with fully understanding that you are not just your mind and not just your physical body. This is where the Law of Attraction and the way it's being used currently has sort of turned us upside-down. We cannot manifest from our minds only. We must engage the root as well. Just as if we stick a cut flower in the ground, without a root system, it will eventually wilt and fall off the stem.

We can certainly attract with our minds. Absolutely. And we certainly must use the Law of Attraction in the manifesting process. But manifesting is an integrative process which involves mind, body, and spirit.

So, the after you understand with your mind that you are mind, body, and spirit, you need to figure out how to take that in and live it.  You must learn to integrate that, not as a concept, but as your reality here. And that means fully understanding that we are living in an illusion. And that illusion exists for the purpose of providing us a vehicle to learn lessons in love.

Any time you can take a one or two dimensional thing or concept, and turn it into a full mind, body, spirit experience and make it multi-dimensional, you've integrated. 

For example, if we look at Voice of the Angels - A Healing Journey Spiritual Cards and wonder why are these a form of integrative healing or why are these a tool for integration, here is why. But the important part of this is to try to apply these concepts to your daily living:

1. These cards were made with crystals and other natural elements. So, that means that instead of flat cards, as a concept in someone's mind, made manifest in one or two dimensions, they were originally made as 3 D.

2. Not only were they made as multi-dimensional to begin with, now we add another dimension because they are based upon scenes from "A Healing Journey Guided Fantasy." Each card is a scene from that journey, which takes place in someone's mind.

3. They each have a verse from the angels. What's different about the verse is that it's in quatrain. So, it's sing-songy and easy to remember in your mind. But as you're looking at the card, holding the card in your hand, here is this verse, this verse, that you are not only reading, but remembering,  and keeping with you throughout the day, and hopefully fully taking in. See?

4. But wait, there is more! Just as Tarot cards are numbered and have a certain order, so do these cards. If you put them in order, the images and also the verses tell the story that is "A Healing Journey Guided Fantasy."

5. And THEN, there is the Journal. You use the journal to journal about your card readings. This is not just so you have a record. It's so that you can see actual spiritual progress. It's not a big empty lined book. It's sort of like a workbook that evokes feelings from the card images. It helps you free up stuck energy.

6. AND, there is a meditation journal to use to record your meditative journeys (A Healing Journey Guided Fantasy is the first one)  from the CD series for Automatic Chakra Balance™ relaxation, integrative healing, etc. This is used rather like dream journaling. When you come out of a meditation, you write down what happened and your linear mind can refer back to it later and be able to process it "integratively" and on different levels.

So can you begin to see how integrating works? This is the best example I can give you at the moment. Integrating when everything works together on many levels. It's a bringing together of all the layers of your entire self and finding ways to release and process and integrate!  Everything works together and everything speaks.

To manifest, to truly manifest, your whole self must learn to work together as a mind, body, spirit team, rather than just a person visualizing and thinking positively and trying to attract from the place of "I want." Effective manifesting takes place from "I Am."  And to get to "I Am" we must learn to integrate.

Since this was my first try at "farming" I decided to keep it relatively simple. I planted eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, and peppers, and a small strawberry plant. And me being me, I planted things in a Feng Shui kind of way. 

I planted the zucchini in the "career/business" area. I love zucchini! I planted the eggplant in the "wealth" corner because it's purple and that color resonates with that area. And the tomatoes and strawberries in the "relationship" area, because they are red, the color of passion. And the strawberries are not only red, but sweet as well. It's nice to have your relationships be sweet.  The peppers, I kind of interspersed. I figured they would, in general, spice things up.

After much tending, watering, feeding and talking to my food, everything was thriving. The zucchini was doing especially well. It was huge, had many, many flowers and was even developing several good sized zucchini. Yes, this was going to be an exceptional crop! And one I was looking forward to immensely.

A few weeks ago I noticed the zucchini plant, which was once the most thriving plant in the garden, began to look a little brown. Hmmmm. I investigated. I couldn't see much of anything wrong there, but decided to keep my eye on it.

As the week progressed, I noticed it getting more and more sickly looking. It had definitely developed "a bug." I took some steps to counteract, but nothing I did made any difference. Within a week, the entire plant was completely gone. Something once thriving and beginning to bear fruit had disintegrated completely within a very short time.

What is particularly interesting to me is that during this time, I had a business situation develop as well. In that arena, the very same thing happened. And within the space of a week, the entire thing, which appeared to be thriving and growing and expanding at one time, with the possibility to bear much good fruit, was completely and totally gone.

Is something like this just a meaningless coincidence? Not to me it isn't. I know that everything is connected.  Everything in the universe works together. Everything happens for a reason, even if we don't see the reason at the time. So while I now have a bare space where I once had something promising, it's OK. Looking at it reminds me of the complete wonder of connection and the amazing workings of the universal garden. Plus, the other "crops" are doing just fine.

Know that whatever you have "planted" may not end up as you envisioned or expected, but perhaps there is a very good reason for it. Maybe you don't know the reason yet.  And when something in your garden is no longer there, for whatever reason, keep in mind that you may get another chance at harvest somewhere down the road. There is a nice bare space there waiting to be filled with the promise and challenge of another fruitful "crop." Every time you look at it, see it not as an empty space fiilled with dirt, but as a wonderful opportunity for something new and perhaps even better.

If we are not in the space of Love, we are definitely in the space of ego. We may THINK we are in the space of Love, based upon our own perceptions of ourselves and perhaps who we would like to be. But, my question really is why do we hang on?

Do you remember the movie "Ghost?" Do you remember the Patrick Swayze character telling the Demi Moore character that the love you feel here is what you take with you? It's true. That's what we take with us and all else falls away and becomes completely non important. Things that seem to hurt us here only seem important  because they relate to things we're working on regarding Love. So, why are you hanging on to "insult and injury?"

When you are able to continue through any situation of perceived pain, to say "I love" or  "I love you" and mean it, you have just experienced "being love." It's when you can't say such things, it's when you can't feel such things, that you remain coldly locked in your perceived ego position and you remain in judgment and self justified actions of ego.

And you may think you can create from that place, because the ego will fool you into that, but you can only create things from your ego in that space. They won't last. You cannot create anything real from Ego. Love is not a perception and something to be pulled out of your magic bag whenever it is convenient to do so.

Love is what's real. Love is where the real power is. So if you cannot forgive, if you cannot see way beyond your perceptions, you are truly not Love, even though the ego will definitely tell you otherwise. If you are not able to love unconditionally and beyond ego, you limit yourself in every way.

Fear is one of the biggest blocks. However, there is something else that is perhaps equally as big and that is entitlement. What's interesting to me about entitlement is that those that are in it really don't think they are. They fully believe they are entitled and around and around that goes.

Often when someone puts their energy in something, they feel this entitles them to something in some way. If we look at divorce situations, something always comes up about whom is entitled to what. People that are in entitlement really have issues with the concept of fair exchange. They believe they are entitled to whatever, simply because they did X, Y, or Z, or entered into the relationship, partnership, marriage, etc. thinking they would receive A, B, or C and did not ultimately.  This is not fair exchange. This is entitlement.

And if we don't understand the concept of fair exchange, it keeps us in entitlement. When we're in entitlement the ego keeps telling us we're entitled because some sort of validation from the outside is needed to keep feeding the ego. And around and around THAT goes.

In order to manifest, one needs to understand fair exchange as a basis. Money is energy. And it's what we've chosen to exchange with here for the most part. Certainly there are other ways to exchange. However, the person in entitlement will never feel "good enough" or that the exchange was fair to them. They will always feel as if they put forth more than they are receiving in return, and therefore are entitled to whatever.

This blocks the ability to be able to truly align with your purpose simply because it is ego driven. It's "I want, I need, I desire, I deserve." It's a tantrum. When a child has a tantrum, they usually are given a time-out.

Does your car drive more smoothly when your front end is aligned or not?

So how do we get out of our own way? Part of it is by being able to see a bigger picture even when you only want to see the 5 x 7 glossy photo with your smiling self in the center of it. Part of it is being able to bring yourself into the moment - into the now - and fully being able to enjoy that moment. That opens up gratitude and gratitude opens up a whole energy pathway to the heavens. Part of it is being willing to come off your ego position whatever it is, for the purposes of perhaps seeing how you get in your own way.

I'm often asked, "Do I have to balance my chakras?" Well, yes, if you want to open an energy flow to the things you desire. Do you have to brush your teeth? Not if you're ok with having cavities.

Do you have to be grateful? Yes, if you want to open a flow bringing in the things you desire.

Do you have to align with your purpose? Yes, if you want to open a flow to bringing in the things you desire.

Do you have to be wiling to get out of your stubborn patterns and ego positions? Yes, if you want to move forward in harmony and in accordance with your purpose.

Where the ego can lead us astray is when we get very attached to outcomes, when we stubbornly believe that the way we've always done things  is the best way, even if it isn't.

You'll know when you're in alignment when things in your life begin to become synchronicitous. It's not that life is meant to be a joyride filled only with smooth paved roads. If it was, we wouldn't really learn anything here. But when things begin to show up in synchronicity, you'll know. And all of this definitely makes for a smoother ride.

What's interesting to me about this is that we all still want "free" even if we perceive it to have no value in monetary terms. "If it's free, I still want it, because it's free, and that somehow validates me." But because it's free it's of no real value, even if it does contain someone else's "valuable" life force, time, energy, and money.

Years ago, when my contemporaries were charging very steep fees - sometimes double or triple of what I was charging -  for psychic readings, I kept mine at what I considered to be a fair exchange. I could have charged more. But I was unwilling to equate perceived value with my self worth.  If you've ever waited 4 months for a psychic reading, paid $400 dollars for it, and then received some very general information about things you already know, maybe you understand what I'm saying.
 
Just because something costs more in terms of dollars, does not make it more valuable. Just because something has a "label" on it, does not make it worth more.

What does a $4,000 handbag have that makes it more valuable than one that costs perhaps $400? What does a $15,000 gown have that a $1,500 dress does not have? In general, what does a $400 psychic reading have that a $100 reading doesn't have? It's all a perception, a label, a name, an ILLUSION.

I'm sitting in a world where I'm watching people working out their root chakra issues. This is where the energy of money resides. And increasingly, while this is happening, I'm seeing some very, very inflated ideas about money as it pertains to self-worth. These perceptions are increasing the distortions about "value."

To move forward, we really need to redefine all of our definitions of "worth."

The challenges people are having with money and with the manifesting of money and the things they really want, have to do with distortions, perceptions about value and about what money really is. Money is energy. Money is not value. Money is energy. Money is not power. Money is a fair exchange. It isn't who you are.

Is it?

However, when he was in the process of making that decision he looked at me and asked, "Does this seem right to you?" It's not that I'm a CPA or CFO or anything like that.  Maybe I just have somewhat of a vision.

"Nope, this doesn't seem right to me either."

My dad was from an era where instant gratification had much less far reaching ramifications.  The simple remedy to the needs, wants, and desires of the ego was perhaps a course of antibiotics, rather than losing one's life savings or house.

In any event, "wanting" won out and he did the deal. Somewhere along the line he refinanced the thing, because his basic intuition must have told him it was too good to be true. And whatever common sense someone had taught him along the way also kicked in. So he did that even in his 80s, because apparently he wasn't willing to put the rest of what he had worked for on the line even if he was sitting in the Universal waiting room with number in hand.

What is different about this situation and the one you perhaps now find yourself in?

I read this today: "My kids have seen me get tearful and frustrated, and I tell them, 'This is a mistake we were drawn to with the belief it would make our lives better. I wish we would have understood it and asked more questions."

My question really is, why didn't you? Why were you drawn to it in the first place? The answer is because the ego wants what it wants when it wants it. It's that simple and that is exactly how we get in our own way.

The broad and grand appeal of "buy now and pay later" has been around for as long as I can remember. It's very tempting for the ego-self. The ego seems to need constant gratification. And so we feed it accordingly with fresh crops of validation.

The problems that so many are facing now as they desperately try to understand why all of this has happened are very sad to me, but there is a much bigger lesson there and a much bigger question: What is wrong with "I want??

It's an illusion. It's a mis-alignment. It's what's in your way.

One of the questions was about Donald Trump and there was another question about Oprah Winfrey.

Do we have to engage the Law of Attraction in the process of manifesting? Yes. Do we have to do more than just use the energy of our minds, positive thinking, visualization, and goal setting in the process of manifesting? Yes. Why? Because these emanate from the mind chakras and the energy of money resides in the root chakra.

Do we have to align our will with "I am" rather than "I want?" Yes. Do we have to open a flow to the energy of money? Yes. Does opening that flow mean that we should figure out how to balance and clear our etheric bodies/our chakras? Yes. Is manifesting an integrative process of mind, body, and spirit? Yes.

If we just look at the physical body in terms of the physical processes of it, we can begin to understand that energy that we take in, such as food, needs to be able to travel on a clear path in order to do what it is intended to do, i.e., nourish the physical body.

It is the same with the etheric bodies/chakra system. Energy cannot travel upon clogged pathways. It's really that simple.

So in the case of very wealthy people such as Oprah or Trump, have they or are they consciously balancing their chakras? Have they too gone through this "manifesting process?"  I believe that it is more that they have learned how to open a flow to the energy of money. They have perhaps come to understand that money is energy. They perhaps have cleared out the issues of the root chakra, thus opening the flow to the energy of creation/co-creation. When that energy travels upward it passes through and meets with the energy of the other chakras and eventually goes up and out and returns.

It doesn't matter who you are, this is the way energy flows - up, through, out, and around.

I have no idea what the original intentions of either of these people were when they first began. Did they both set an intention for amassing fortunes? Did they consciously attempt to manifest wealth? I don't know. Perhaps years ago they both had a belief system that told them "money is power." Perhaps they still hold that belief. I do not know that either.

What I do know is that as a culture, as a global society, we must somehow come to an understanding that money is NOT power. Money is energy. Money is simply our manufactured form of fair exchange. If we took the concept of money away completely, who then are we without that? How do our perceptions of power change then? Is it then that the one with the most beads or rocks is perceived to be the wealthiest and most powerful?

If no one had any money, who would you be or what would you do as a form of exchange? Really think about that because it brings you very close to your purpose here and close to who you really are. When you know who you are without your money, then you can align with your purpose. When you're aligned with your purpose, you've begun to open a flow to the energy of whatever it is you desire to co-create and manifest.

Is Oprah aligned with her purpose? It would seem so. Is Donald Trump aligned with his purpose? It would seem so. Are these people more deserving of money than you are? That's really not it. Everyone has their earthly lessons to learn. Perhaps these people came here to learn life lessons about power.  However they did it, they have both learned, whether consciously or not, how to open the flow of the energy of money. 

Where does that leave you? You are learning about power as well. When we stop chasing the pieces of paper, and stop demanding, as little children, from a place of "I want," when we begin to fully understand that money is energy, when we align fully with our power of creation, intention, will, and then learn to integrate all of that into who we are and what we came to do, we have just taken our power back.

The perceived power of money is an illusion, because in the end, we are all the same. It won't matter how many pieces of paper and material possessions you had or didn't have. What will matter is what you did with the real power. And that real power is in the gift of life and love. That is where the real wealth is.

When someone tells us something we just simply do not want to take in as truth, we can get very stubborn and controlling and insistent on having things our way. 

This renders you in your own way. You block the ability of the universe or anyone else to help you when you are stubbornly struggling and trying to control. You keep yourself locked in your patterns.

If you let go and accept, you open a pathway for energy to flow. This includes a pathway for the energy of money.

Be willing to accept. Be willing to align. Be willing to see that perhaps your way hasn't been working out so well thus far. Try something new. Acceptance.

What if you began to define success and failure in terms of accomplishing your life purpose instead of money?

The "not good enough" energy resides in the 2nd chakra. The energy of money and the energy of self-worth as it relates to money and the outside world's view of you resides in the first chakra.  Tell me then, with these two energy centers blocked and so distorted by fear and ego, how does one then come to have a gut feeling about what they are supposed to do? How does one then connect up with the energy of passion which resides in the heart? How does one then bring that energy up to the throat chakra, which is how we express here on the earth plane? How does one then send that energy up and out into the universe so that it may return to you as "success?"

The other day they were talking about success and failure. And there was a panel of experts advising people about success and failure. One of the things that I noticed was that the people that were calling in asking about these, were saying that they are doing their passion and they are not having success. There were people who were saying they were applying the laws of attraction, positive thinking, visualization, etc., and nothing was happening in terms of "success."

How I wish I had been on the panel, because I would so like to add another layer to all of this. This is what I've written about in Money and Manifesting. But, since I'm not on the panel, and won't likely be on the panel anytime soon, I will discuss it here.

First of all, everyone needs to reclassify their idea of "success." Right now we are measuring "success" in terms of dollars, or millions of dollars. As strange as it may seem, this is how we create limitation. This is how we stay entrenched in belief systems that well, keep us stuck in belief systems that money is power or money is success.

If we're stuck there, then we are blocking our own flow of the energy of money. And we have those people whose self-worth is tied up with money as it equates to self-value. So it is is easy to see how one might be blocking oneself unless and until you really understand that money is not power, self-worth, or success. Money is just a fair exchange of energy. And if you have some self-worth issues that tell you perhaps you are undeserving of or overwhelmed by the big idea of millions of dollars, you may begin to see what the problem is.
 
Yes, we all want money, however, as I said, money is energy. Money isn't power or success. Money is simply an exchange.  If we get an understanding of how the energy of money works, then it becomes very easy to open a flow to this energy and therefore, achieve "success."

For those that are out there doing their passion and the money isn't flowing, try to think of it like this: Passion comes from the heart. The energy of money resides in the root chakra. You have to connect the dots. You cannot connect the energy of passion in the heart with the visualizations of the mind and expect to have money flowing. It isn't enough. Because, the energy of money resides in the root and if the root is blocked, the energy of money cannot flow up from the heart and into the mind and circulate back down and around to you. It would more likely just go up and out, never to be seen again...It's like you're missing a whole big important step here...more than one step, actually. And what you're doing is energetically backward.

For example, if we understand as a basis that the energy of creating anything is in the root, in the base, as in the creation of a child, then understand that you can have all kinds of passion for creating that child and your mind can even visualize the child. But now, ask yourself what do you have to do to now create that child?? The answer is that you must engage the power of the root. You must connect everything you've got to everything else. In order to establish the flow of the energy of money you must use the power contained in all of your chakras.

For those that think this is a lot of New Age mumbo-jumbo, it isn't. It's the way things are designed to flow. You can have all the passion you could ever hope to have about something and you can visualize and think positively about it as well, and you could have nothing happen at all. Or have things happen in a limited manner. And the very simple explanation to it all is that you are simply blocked at the root.

I've written about how to unblock yourself in Money and Manifesting. But for manifesting anything you need to know there is more to the story. One must be willing to live in total alignment with their life's purpose as well. One must figure out how to live mulit-dimensionally, not just in the linear fashion and mindset that tells you that money is "success." One must learn how to take everything in their cupboard or refrigerator and create something from it all. That is when you find that you have an open pathway to the energy of money.

In order for shift to happen, in order that we might move forward as a society, and as a civilization, we need to first get the concepts of "success" and "failure" into perspective. We won't be able to have any quantum shift in mass consciousness until we fully get a grip on these things.

Here is something to think about: If we had no "money" how would we then define "success?" How would we define "failure?" How would we define ourselves?

And most importantly then, (to me!) would there still be "The Big Idea?"

And I watch it because, of course, Donny is a fabulously attractive hunk of man. One of the guests was chef Bobby Flay. He shared some of his life with us and described a challenging childhood.  At one point his father "made" him go to work in a restaurant for a brief time. When the job was through the chef asked him if he wanted to work in the kitchen. He reluctantly agreed. He did not feel a passion for this yet, and he said he did it because basically he had nothing better to do. The rest is history. Bobby went on to become one of the most celebrated chefs of our time.

Sometimes the universe just points us in the right direction. It is completely our choice whether or not we want to go. The thing about children is that they usually are more open to that "pointing" because they haven't had a lot of time to let fear and doubt get in their way of forward movement. They don't have a real grasp of the concept of limitations yet. These things are learned. Children still believe they can do anything. They still have hopes and dreams. And most importantly they live more in the moment. They do not sit there and think, "Hey, I'm ten years old and my life is maybe half over." And they usually do not get in their own way because they haven't been taught to do that yet.

As an adult, when you find the universe pointing you in the right direction, give a long, long thought to any reluctance or hesitation you may have. Ask yourself what you are afraid of and why.  Ask yourself if you are in your own way. Allow youself to become your own big idea in every way.

Examine why you may have such a position in the first place. What are you threatened by and afraid of really? Get to the root of the fear.  New ways of doing things just can't flow through a barrier of ego. Now I know a lot of you are saying, "I'm not in my ego." But we all get attached to our own way of doing things and that does get in our way. And the ego is good because it's the very thing that keeps us here doing our "earth school" lessons.

Sometimes, the easiest and most simple way to effect a change is just to simply agree to try a different way.  If you block the flow of the water how can something as magical and special as a message in a bottle ever get to you?

And we all know that the message in the bottle is always a message of love.

When you find yourself doing a bunch of things that you don't want to be doing, you need to ask yourself why you are willing to persist in engaging in things you do not enjoy.  The truthful answer to this might surprise you, because it's usually fear based. 

Do you really want to wait until you're on the other side of this lifetime to figure out what your life was really about? This taking for granted attitude toward the gift of life keeps us stuck. If you really understood and appreciated every moment as precious, then you might not be so willing to waste it doing things you detest.

It is crucial to be willing to take responsibility for the way your life is and all you've created already.  That is a first and basic step in opening a pathway to positive change in your life. And once you do that, you've opened a door to de-stressing as well. All stress is self-created based upon choices you have made or continue to make.

Sometimes people engage in work they don't enjoy because they feel they need to do so to "make money." Do you not believe that you can create a flow of money doing something that you enjoy? Do you believe that you must engage in self-punishment in order to make money? Where did you learn this pattern of self-abuse?

The truth is that this pattern is based on illusion. We do not make money. We create and open a flow to the energy of money. And it is important to note that the pattern of abuse/self-abuse resides in the root chakra. It is the very same chakra that the energy of money resides in.
 
So when you have the energy of money co-existing and mingling in the same space as the energy of those patterns, you can perhaps see how you've created for yourself the element of "making money" in some sort of abusive manner.

Now that you know this are you willing to de-stress?

For a long while now I have been waiting for someone out there to "truly" share all the parts that we need to "re - learn" to enable us to create our own reality - The Secret left bits out, which personally made my blood boil for by it not giving the "whole story" individuals could be left slowly losing any faith and trust in themselves and or the Universe.

How could our reality be created with only our thoughts and feelings when for millions of years we have conceived and created within our base - giving birth to babies and babies galore!
